The soft pitter-patter of the rain tapping gently against her window brought on a sudden tired she wasn't ready for. She fought it for only a few minutes, though, as she glanced at her clock and realized he wouldn't be home for another six hours. Her heart gave a small pang for missing him and she clung to her knees for a moment before falling back on her bed and closing her eyes, allowing sleep to take over. She rolled onto her side out of habit and her eyes fluttered slightly behind her eyelids. She dreamed of him like she always did. [His hand lightly stroked her cheek and her arm was resting on his shoulder while her hand, half hidden by her long sleeve, was playing with the hair at the nape of his neck. He was smiling at her and kissing her. She was smiling back and pressing her lips to his in return. They were truly happy to finally be together. Nothing or no one could ever seperate them. They would be together always. They exchanged "I love you's" and sat with their foreheads together. They kissed each other softly and shamelessly. He slowly began to unbutton her shirt and-] There was a loud bang on the door followed by the doorbell again. Dammit, they were persistent. They'd better have a damn good excuse for waking me up so rudely, she thought to herself with a faint smile still on her lips as she skipped down the stairs. She glanced out the slender window beside the door and saw that it was raining harder. Then she saw the officer. Her heart raced. She fumbled with the door clumsily and sung it open to look up into the sad eyes of the police woman before her. Her only thought was that he had been ripped from her in a cruel mannor and that she would tear the world a new ass for doing this to her. Then she saw his car pull into the driveway faster than she'd ever seen and, without bothering to put any shoes on, raced to his door. Flinging it open and sat on him and smothered him in hugs and kisses. After a few moments he was finally able to pull back and stare deep into her eyes. He asked her: "Honey, what's wrong?" She didn't know where to start. "I fell asleep and woke up to that cop on our doorstep. What was I supposed to think?" She choked back a small sob and then looked to their porch. Right. The cop was still there. But why? He was perfectly fine. So he couldn't possibly be delivering bad news. She slowly raised herself from his lap and grabbing his hand and giving it a firm, yet gentle, squeeze walked toward the house. "May we help you officer?" He asked, noting she was unable to find her voice. The rather tall, uniformed woman glanced at him then returned her gaze to the girl...

Meh, I have to go offline in a few minutes. Just a scrap from a dream I had last night. I dunno where I'll go with it. Or if I'll even go anywhere. Hell, I don't even know if I like it yet. xD All and any feedback is welcome. Again, for the definition of feedback, I advise you look it up. Because there is a difference between feedback/criticism and attempting to tear someone down. It's lame and if you try to do it, I swear I'll bite you're gods forsaken head off.
